Tata Motors Announce more Vehicles in the Pipeline not just for fleet and Govt. Sales only.

Tata Motors has decided to sell its Tigor EV in the domestic market, mostly supplying for the state-owned eesl’s in the coming years, Tata going to bring cars that are relevant for the fleet, officials, government, and for the private segment also.

Tata is going to launch its premium hatchback of electric version Altroz, which would be expected to hit the market within the next two years.

Tata also announces that they are going to produce buses and small light commercial vehicles which satisfy the requirement of government.

Tata motors president- electric mobility business & corporate strategy Shailesh Chandra said Tata is ready with Tiago EV but would like to bring it in the market when there is demand for it.

It is better to choose that certain markets where there are issues of pollution and a higher propensity to customers that consider an electric vehicle.

By examining the market we have identified that certain 20-25 markets and we are working with different partners. If we want to convert the country into electric mobility and meet government goals by 2025, we will have to start promoting the private segment at in four-wheelers. Under the scheme of government providing the subsidy to all the owner of a commercial electric vehicle which is used for public and registered for commercial purpose. Through the scheme,10 lakh electric two-wheelers, five lakh three-wheelers, 55000 four wheelers, and 7000 buses are planned to be subsidized.
